The park’s luxurious Eco-Cabins, set on the jungle-covered
hillside that overlook its white sanded beaches and green-blue
sea are reached after an hour long trek through the sites and
sounds of the rainforest. If this delicious eco-walk sounds
too strenuous, a horse-ride to your accommodation along the
paradisiacal beaches provides a heavenly alternative.
The spectacular “Eco-Habs” are constructed in natural
materials and a style to reflect the homes of the indigenous
tribe, the “Tayrona” who still inhabit the surrounding
mountains. The interior of the cabins is chic and minimalist
with whites, natural hues and a rainbow of exotic fruits and
flowers.
The Eco-Habs are located in the Arrecifes and Cañaveral areas
of the park and they transmit an air of elegance, set in a
Garden of Eden with sweeping views across coral filled sea,
white sands and jungle-covered mountains.
For the more adventurous visitor, nights may also be spent
camping amongst the sounds of the forest or lounging in
hammocks where the cacophony of the dawn-chorus is your
alarm-clock. The freshest tropical fruits and sea-food taken
from the surrounding seas are served daily in a delicately
candle-lit cabin or on the beach as the Caribbean waves
whisper you a soothing song.
