The Hotel Casa del
Arzobispado or “House of the Archbishop” was proudly
constructed in its original guise in the late 17th century
during the romance of the Spanish Colonial era and was
inhabited by the right honourable gentleman; Antonio Jose de
Ayos. Many centuries later in 2002, this mansion was
beautifully renovated to its current breathtaking state,
conserving its original grand colonial décor.
The friendly staff of the Casa del Arzobispado are experts in
hosting weddings and other ambient celebrations that require
special finishing touches and attention.

through Cartagena’s cobbled streets while bathed in the soft
