Isla Múcura is a
paradisiacal Caribbean island situated on the San Bernardo
archipelago, 40 nautical miles from Cartagena, Colombia. The
archipelago lies on one of the largest and most important
coral reefs in the Caribbean.
Punta Faro compliments the island’s heavenly location amongst
the corals with grassy meadows interspersed with high, lush
palm trees, mangrove lagoons and eco-walks around the
perimeter of the island. The waters that surround the island
are shallow and crystal-clear, perfect for bathing and
snorkelling.
The construction of the island was done with the ecology of
the area in mind and utilised only local woods and other
natural materials to create an ambience that reflects the
unique eco-paradise of the reefs. Guests can choose from
either Superior or Luxury Rooms which are all air-conditioned
and give spectacular views.
The island has many social areas in which to mingle or there
are equally as many intimate, secluded spots for romantic
